happy-family-01

There’s a quote I’ve always found really interesting in the book Anna Karenina by Leo Tolstoy. You may have heard it before, it’s quoted pretty often:

“Happy families are all alike; every unhappy family is unhappy it its own way.”

I’m not sure if that’s empirically true, but it fits my observation pretty well. I think Tolstoy’s point was that there’s a formula to creating a happy family, and about a million ways to derail from that formula.

I feel the same about success in all areas and happiness in general. There seems to be a formula for creating it, one that gets taught by a variety of people and packaged in a variety of ways but usually ends up teaching a few basic principles. I mentioned in my blog post on Happiness the variables that appear to be a major part of that formula. And while it’s cool to have a list of things to serve as a reference for how you’re doing, one of the most important things you can do for yourself on your quest for happiness (taking for granted that you do, indeed, want to be happy) is to set your intention on creating the life you want.

While this can happen at any time, as people we seem to have anchors around ‘fresh starts’ looking for opportunities to cleanse ourselves of perceived missteps. New Year’s resolutions are a great time to indulge our need for anchors, and let the ‘fresh start’ feeling sweep over us.

raj-and-gabyMy good friends Raj and Gaby Sundra are a couple of truly exceptional people who simply radiate happiness. They accept themselves and others in a way that I’ve never experienced before, attracting friends from all over. Truly loyal friends that would do just about anything for them. They also follow their dreams, not allowing the template of life to dictate how they’ll be living theirs. And they help other people learn their formula through their company called Transformance.

Camronn and I had the privilege of working with them when we consulted with the software company Oracle. The system they’ve developed over the last seven years for reaching individual goals is truly impressive. (I say this as someone who collects models and systems en masse – theirs is truly unique.)

As a Christmas gift, I wanted to let you know about a free teleclass Raj and Gaby are teaching Thursday, December 20th. It’s called “Reach Your Goals In 2013. The Secrets of Stress – Free Productivity and Realizing Your Dreams!” I highly recommend registering. I know the information and goodies they share with you will be well worth your time.

The New Year is just a couple of weeks away. It’s definitely not too early to start planning to make 2013 kick much ass.

Cheers!
-Antonia

Genius Awakening-reminded me of my true fingerprint DNA. The Feeling i live by that is
Why I am an Artist – Someone Like Vincent Van Gogh, not what I see, but what I feel !
South Africa’s Infrastructure and all income stems from 3 sources : Mining / Farming /
And industry ! It is the latter that caught my attention. Although Qualified as an Art teacher,
I always done designing even when I was at art collage. So with an insight in dress designing. I managed to win the Wool-board competition, and had my own boutique and manufactured all the clothing. Had a big fashion show for business woman 1992 and ran for B. woman of the year. (but did not win ) I can see a big potential for South Africa has the natural Cotten and wool to build up the industrial Highs and at the same level create work !
We Import to many clothes form the East !

My 3rd gift is my love for children ! I had the opportunity to teach at a nursery school for
The young. As I had all the Art crafts and insight to read the ability of Aft in young children.
After this Corse Of Genius Awakening – I have a very strong desire to work again with Children-but now to discover the feeling geniuses at a more younger age, for you will notice this gift in a child of + – 3 to 4 Years ! I can now recognize it in my sons drawings at a very
Young age ! ( He was the Production designer of Lost ) Though he came from a rural background-he was nominated several times for his work. We desperately need to get these children at a young age ! So they may be put into special institutions of education.
And parents and the world recognize the gift in them ! Look I applaud that technology is moving faster than lightning ! But the price we will have to pay in losing CREATIVITY !
This Is Your dream but also mine, don’t kill the world !

I have Finely discovered that I am not for the website computer pushbutton along that ally !
So I will be like Mother Teresa, and sacrifice all the money of the world for the Dreams and
    Gifts God gave me !
I have also decided to look into myself and remember what made me so happy =
    1. Hugging a new born puppy and feeling its breath against me, I have never felt closer to creation.
2.Just to lay under a tree and watch the branches move, or the patterns in the clouds.
    3. Beautiful relaxing music or a favorite song of “every day is the same” David Bowie
    4. An au-some Sunset painted by our creator.
5.Spending more time with the people I love, and inspiring them.
6.Just go for it and do what you are called to do
