Definitely! As long as humor is in good taste, it’s much better to work with someone you can laugh with. Plus, high humor can be pretty complex and when executed properly, it shows that you have a good understanding of the situation, that you can read people and relate well, you understand your audience, and that you’re smart and insightful. Relating to people is a huge part of any career. After all, no man is an island.

Oh wow. Yes, good call Antonia and Joel. I absolutely love her message, where she emphasizes connection and shared humanity. With our divisive identity politics dividing and polarizing people she is a beautiful blend of empathy without compromising an inch of her pride in her unique culture. And, with my over-empathizing white butt, I will not get started on the current status of Puerto Rico as a freakin “territory” that has, incredibly, taxation without representation, among many other things, but anyway I’m inspired to go high, that’s my M.O. 😉
    Great interview!

Thanks to Gina for sharing her experiences on the podcast. Very cool to hear from an ENxJ woman about the role that personal development has played in her professional life. I wish that my family was a fun to be with as her family!

As always, thanks to Joel and Antonia for all that you do. Ready to swing for the fences in 2019?

I, too, love Mexican comedians so I would stand by your previous comment as well.
