A personal note – I’m kind of hoping you’ll be able to join Profiler Training this year, Eric. I think you would love it if you could swing it.

The concept of the “did I forget to unplug the iron” is awesome.

The habituated grip is when you are at the doctor’s office, you get the thought “you know, I did leave it plugged in, didn’t I…” and walk outside the office and notice, looking in the general direction of your house about 30min away, that there is smoke rising from the horizon and the distant sound of firetrucks and you think “oh dear, is that my house everyone in the city sees burning?”

Thanks Natalie for stopping by. It’s great to hear from you. We were referencing Dr. John Beebe and his 8-Function model of personality type. He wrote a book called “”https://amzn.to/3Dc38kU" target=“_blank” rel=“noopener nofollow ugc”>Energies and Patterns in Psychological Type."

Hello! I’ve just listened to this episode and would like to know who the person was you referred to a couple of times (John, maybe) who spoke about the hero and archetypes of the personality functions.
    Thank you
