Question from Readers – Best Books for ENFJ Growth
Can you please recommend what you believe would be the best personal development book for an ENFJ??? Love your podcast!! Life changing!! Thank you!

No matter the Myers-Briggs personality type, the best books will be any that activate, challenge and exercise the Co-Pilot process.
The Co-Pilot process for an ENFJ is Perspectives, or technically called “Introverted Intuition.” This is a process that helps ENFJs see things from multiple and meta-perspectives. Understanding reality in a whole new way is extremely impactful.
The two books I’d recommend are Eckhart Tolle’s “The Power of Now” (as well as the practical follow-up “Practicing the Power of Now”) and Robert Anton Wilson’s “Prometheus Rising.” They will challenge how ENFJs (and anyone, really) interact and see reality, which means they will massively activate the Perspectives process.
Even if the reader doesn’t agree with the writers’ assertions, you can’t help but have your intuition triggered, in both good and bad ways. They WILL be challenging, and possibly uncomfortable, but that’s why they’re so good for development and growth.

As someone who leads with Introverted Intuition (Perspectives) myself, I have personally found both of these books satisfying. The Ni process really is massively activated while reading these books.
I would also recommend “Waking Up” by Sam Harris. This book is more along the lines of Philosophy; however, there is much to be gained from it like the works of Wilson and Tolle. Likewise, there are always audible books and YouTube videos available on all of these topics if one is interested in such, as well.
I believe all three of these men to be Ni dom Types. So, for what it is worth to you ENFJs out there, these are my insights.
I would also add to the recommendation list, “The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People” by Stephen Covey. The common theme is paradigms, and shifting the lens in which you see the world, which I believe has helped me with my co-pilot. Covey does a great job of explaining and relating these habits, the first being “Be Proactive”. I highly recommend it to my fellow ENFJ’s.
Great book and recommendation for all types.
