In our 100th episode Joel and Antonia discuss the intention and future of Personality Hacker as a company and as a movement.

In this podcast you’ll find:

  • Personality Hacker has recently been focused on Myer’s Briggs types, doing deep dives on each type and will continue to do so.
  • This is a good time to get back to personal development, including other models, maps and typologies.
  • It’s a good time to reframe and get back to the vision and purpose of Personality Hacker.
  • If you are a new listener we recommend going back and listening to other podcasts which talk about other topics such as models of human development, how we can develop as people, where we are headed as a society.
  • Personality is a sum total of an individual. It’s not just about knowing your Meyer’s Briggs Type, Enneagram or Grave’s Model.
  • We want you to be the hackers to give you your own way of developing to the best version of yourself.
  • We are primed to be in a position to question our collective unconscious reality, then craft a completely different future.
  • KobayashiMaru was a no win game in Star Trek but Captain Kirk cheated the game to win.
  • Our entire life doesn’t have to be a Kobayashi Maru. We live in a time when we don’t have to see life as a no-win situation.
  • Personality Hacker is about empowerment and our target is self-actualization.
  • You don’t have to let experiences define you as a person. You get to choose your narrative.
  • When you can transcend your ego and find tools to create a new narrative, you can reallocate your mental real estate to solving the problems of the world.
  • We as Personality Hacker, the business and the movement, want to start moving the culture to one of self-acceptance and actualization.
  • Getting Intuition honored in the world is one of the things that’s going to lead to a tipping point to solve major world problems.
  • We have been working on our own proprietary model of what an Intuitive Awakening looks like in an individual so we can predict the steps of a macro Intuitive Awakening in society.
  • In 2016 we will be introducing it. It has 9 levels of movement. Vertical model. From the moment of realizing what Intuition is to a full blown actualized Intuitive Awakening.
  • A lot of community involvement. Internet groups. On site podcasts. Meet-up groups. We want to meet the community.

Dear Antonia and Joel, what a great plan for 2016! In my case it has already working. I started my year 2015 with big plans and a long list of things I wanted to accomplish. Back then I was listening to a different podcast series about personal development and in retrospect I have to say that they were using a one-size fits all approach: Get out and connect with as many people as you can, try to constantly experience new things, push, push, push. Now I can say that this podcast was directed at extroverts and sensors most of the time. I (INFJ) eagerly tried to implement every piece of advice and worked frenetically on my to-do-list for the year. Well by April I was burnt out. All this socialising, non-stop experiencing new things, travelling and having ten things on my plate simultaneously drained up my energy. The frustrating thing was that I had just joined a charity (we save and distribute food that would be otherwise thrown away) and started to feel like I wasn’t simply cut out for helping others because I was such an exhausted wreck all the time. Then THANKFULLY I found you. I landed on Personalityhacker because somebody mentioned the word “introvert” in the other podcast and I immediately searched for a podcast about introversion. The only good one I found was yours. As I listened to your other podcasts and as I started reading about personality types, introversion and highly sensitive people I started to realize that I wasn’t doomed to a life of exhaustion and disappointment. I realized that I had lived against who I was, against what I needed and against what I could do best all my life. This revelation, of course, put me in my much neglected flow state (Perspectives) and almost immediately I felt more energized. It allowed me to continue my work in the charity and also inspired me to search for charities were analytical thinking is needed. I am contributing more to this world because you helped me understand myself. My plan for 2016 is to have even more energy. I am thrilled to be a part of your amazing movement.

Great to hear that the pendulum is swingin’ and that folks are actively looking for more and more ways to connect with each other. I have already recommended the podcast to several friends and family. Can’t wait to see what 2016 will bring – keep it up!
