    • What are the positive and negative aspects to having your thoughts and experiences recorded?

Amazing episode on a tantalizing topic. Is there a good place you would point us for a list of archetypes in general? The Red book or any others? I’m starting to read John Beebe’s book and it’s becoming obvious I don’t have much background in the “named” archetypes themselves.

Joseph Campbell’s work dives into archetypes well. Older Jordan Peterson lectures from university have a lot of archetypal content. An easy read is Jean Shinoda Bolen’s books, “Goddesses in Every Woman” and “Gods in Every Man.” We did a podcast series on them.

I’d start with those and see where it takes you. 🙂

Hi Joel and Antonia. Excellent conversation. I’ve been listening since summer 2015!!! You two have introduced me to so many life changing maps & models and spurred so many different interests. Can’t thank you enough! 💛💛

    I know I’m a few weeks late, but…

Duuuuuun dundundun Duun Dun Duun DUUUUUUUUNN!!!

    400 weeks!

Miserable attempt at typing a fanfare aside, congratulations and recognitions for the amazing stick-to-it-ness of your work keeping the company alive, not to mention the weekly podcast :D. Your personal anecdotes, words of hard-earned advice, and devotion to positively impacting the world around you have touched many and pointed them to more healthy thought patterns and other health tips (major kudos for all your work expanding your horizons with Jung on Yoga and the Enneagram starter kits).

I’m very much looking forward to seeing what you all will be up to next! Thanks so much for all you do for us who’ve come across your work.

    Best wishes,
    William

Congrats on 400!!! 🎉🌟😎 You have been a solid foundation for my personal growth journey for very close to all 8 years!! I have listened to every podcast and rely on it for good Mbti info. I was SUPER excited during the recent John Biebe 8 model podcast and really hope they’ll be more on that subject in the future. Also, you’re always so hard on yourselves when you talk about your personal experiences, as if it’s a faux pas. But remember, we are here BECAUSE OF YOU! We are interested in YOU and your thoughts and lives. I love getting personal tidbits, anecdotes, struggles and victories. And not in a creepy way! Thank you for your dedication and your voices. I look forward to what the future holds, and hope it continues to include a podcast!

Wow! 🤯 Very inspiring show. Thanks for sticking with it. I’ve been listening for about 3 or 4 years now, and I look forward to every episode.
This episode really pulled some things together for me. I’ve been following archetypes, Hero’s journey, growth paths, etc from different sources and it all synchronized in this one episode!
The concept of incorporating the shadow is in part recognizing the monstrous within ourselves – knowing that the monster is part of the self – and instead of suppressing it or denying it, harnessing it. It is facing the worst that life can throw at us and using our full strength to rise to the challenge.
Thanks again and keep the journey going!

Great! With this exciting new direction, do you think we could have a PH and This Jungian Life podcast collab?

Wow, 400 hundred episodes, that’s awesome! Congrats and thank you for sharing your thoughts and insights with us every week. One of the highlights of my week is when you publish a new episode, the longer the better :-D.
I’ve listened to your podcast for almost three years and joined three of your programs, so far. The latest being Jung on Yoga, which is AMAZING and has been a game changer for me.
I can honestly say that you’ve changed my life. So, THANK YOU, again!
Looking forward to the next 100 episodes 😉
