    Excellent advise.

I am an INFJ, married to an ESTJ. I am definitely missing that intuitive connection and a bit of banter that I grew-up with as it was part of my family culture but not my husband’s. HOWEVER, we have quite a few shared values (trust, integrity, responsibility, honesty and loyalty) and some shared interests (culture, travel, politics) that make our relationship strong.

Before meeting my husband, I dated quite a few intuitives. The sparks were definitely there, we would finish each other sentences, have fascinating conversations, share a good laugh, but our values that are essential for building a long-lasting relationship did not align, at least at the time.

I appreciate your suggestion to look for that intutive nourishment outside of the relationship/marriage. My question is – how do you explain this need to your sensor partner so they understand what you mean? It is hard to put into words.

My second question: what does a sensor miss in a relationship with an intuitive? How would you describe that so that I can better understand his needs as well?

    Thank you.
