Just yesterday, Cinco de Mayo, I enjoyed a margarita while listening to this fun podcast. Cheers! Nothing wrong with cutting loose once in a while.

I find it funny (though also a little sad) that doing this would be considered a reason to take you guys less seriously or even to stop listening to your podcast. Maybe this is because I’m from Belgium and drinking is just “normal” here…

I’ve been a life long abstainer as well, but unlike Joel, I’m not planning on changing that. I have tried many types of alcohol and none taste good. “Yeah but you have to learn to appreciate it”. But why? I do enough stupid things when I’m sober?

So I’m wondering Joel, since you have not been indoctrinated since birth that drinking is normal and you must do it (like everyone around me seems to be), what exactly is it that interests you about it now? I’m genuinely curious, not trolling.
